Newcomers immigrant women particularly visible minority women frequently face numerous hurdles and multiple barriers including cultural shock, lack of community and social supports, lengthy absence from the labor market, starting over, skepticism, the confusion that comes with maintaining a positive self-image and attitude through financial hardship and resulting lack of self-confidence. Yet in spite of all these difficulties, immigrant women are excelling as trailblazers, professionals, leaders, academics and savvy business people.

My own personal experience of what I encountered has given me a strong knowledge of what immigrant women truly need – they need a platform to be heard and recognized, a support network, and a space where they can grow to become more of whom they should. A place they can connect, interact and be encouraged to reach for the T.O.P the place every woman belong. Our platform is about Storytelling because we’ve realize that stories comfort, it bring warmth, it makes one to imagine and to want to do more … that is what our platform is all about, focusing on promoting Immigrant Women and allowing them to “tell stories by themselves for themselves”
